Meet Allison Orenstein

Founder of The Concierge Daughter

Allison Orenstein is the founder of The Concierge Daughter, a private, relationship-driven service designed to support aging women with the presence, discretion, and attentiveness of a devoted daughter.

As a Massachusetts attorney with nearly 20 years of experience working closely with individuals and families in real estate and estate planning, Allison has a unique perspective on the evolving needs of families, particularly as parents age and require additional support.

The Concierge Daughter was created to offer aging women the kind of support a daughter would naturally provide — thoughtful, consistent, and deeply personal. Through companionship, advocacy, and thoughtful coordination, Allison helps women navigate daily life with dignity and ease, while keeping families informed and at peace.

Allison’s path to this work began long before her legal career. As a child, she spent time alongside her mother, a geriatric social worker in New York City, where she witnessed firsthand the importance of helping women age with dignity, attention, and care. Those early experiences left a lasting impression and continue to shape the foundation of her work today.

Her work is grounded in trust, consistency, and a genuine commitment to treating each client with the same care she would offer her own family.

Our Philosophy

Our Philosophy of Care

We believe aging should be met with dignity, companionship, consistency, and thoughtful support. Every woman deserves to feel seen, valued, and cared for — while families deserve reassurance knowing their loved one has a trusted advocate nearby.

At The Concierge Daughter, relationships come first. We prioritize trust, discretion, communication, and personalized attention in every interaction.

FAQ

Frequently Asked

Questions

The Concierge Daughter is a retainer-style service that supports aging women the way a daughter would — through companionship, guidance, and thoughtful coordination of life’s details. From everyday tasks to meaningful moments, we provide a trusted presence that brings comfort to the woman and peace of mind to her family.

Do you wish you lived closer to your mom? Do you check in on her throughout the day, making sure she has everything she needs? Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have someone nearby to take on the roles she needs from a daughter? The Concierge Daughter is a local presence in the Greater Boston Area to be here when circumstances make it difficult to show up.

We begin the personalized intake process with a client questionnaire to gain a thoughtful understanding of both your mother’s needs and your family’s priorities at this stage of life. Once the questionnaire is complete, we will meet virtually or in person to review the information and design a tailored plan of support and companionship, known as the Concierge Support Plan, that addresses both immediate and longer-term needs while identifying any additional professionals who may be helpful along the way. From there, we will collaborate on choosing the appropriate Plan for your family.

There are three different retainer-style Plans offered by The Concierge Daughter, each with the same personalization and attention to detail but with varying levels of frequency. These levels include weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly visits and a certain amount of appointment accompaniment along with planning and check-in meetings with chosen family members. There are also add-on services available for current clients.

As a seasoned real estate attorney, Allison would be happy to provide legal services and may be retained as a personal attorney through a separate arrangement. Allison also works closely with attorneys spanning multiple practice areas and is able to provide referrals to various colleagues where appropriate.

The Concierge Daughter does not provide medical advice or health services. Clients are encouraged to seek medical assistance with licensed professionals.

There is a twelve-month engagement, which provides the foundation for a strong, ongoing relationship and can include varying levels of frequency and plan type.
